- Aug 6 SunRISE in Wisconsin : 27 minutes LATE
- Per the marker on May 15 and the month preceding this, a 6:10 marker, arrived at that marker just ahead of 6:40. Assuming a 27 minute
LATE again, as per a couple days ago.
- Aug 6 NOON in Texas : 14 minutes LATE
- High Noon marks in Houston, Tx were passed at 13 minutes 45 seconds late. This is about 25 seconds later than yesterday which was 25
seconds later than the day before. This contrasts with the analemma charts which show that the passing of the high noon marks should be
getting earlier not later.
- Aug 6 NOON in Virginia : 15 minutes LATE
- Could not get a definite reading for the clouds, but feel it is safe to say the Noon Sun in VA remains at 15 minutes LATE on 8/6. I mark the
1PM shadow whenever possible, so I have a guideline from which to estimate when the Sun reaches my baseline shadow. I had a definitive
shadow at 1PM
