- Using the same mark for noon in El Paso that I have used for three months, the Sun arrived at the noon position today (Friday, 09/12) at
1355 hrs MDST. Some days I think I am way off because no one else is making a report from El Paso for a comparison and Houston is
reporting only 18 to 19 minutes late. However, today the shadow did not reach the noon mark until 1:55PM. U.S. Naval Observatory,
