The Sun's shadow reached my baseline at approximately 1:11PM on 7/27 in VA. A cloud prevented an exact reading. The lamp shadow revealed the Sun continues to move South in VA. Tonight, we had 743 flashes of lightning within 10 minutes. People were having to be rescued from their cars, stalled in rushing water. Several inches of rain fell.

July 27 the sunset was 23 minutes late in finishing. The amount of pink seems to be increasing. Saw the dust cloud in the reflection of the sun on my car's window, at least I think that is the red-pink shaded cloud that surrounds about three fourths of the sun..
