Intense Sun
New Zealand, on Mar 5, 2004
- Today on geonet for the first time I can recall , they have pulled an early morning cam shot of Mt Ngaurahoe, inserting a blank one. We
have had severe flooding in some districts, and the gale force winds have been the strongest in recorded history which began in 1947.

- Camera burnout will cause a camera to fail, temporarily, and I suspect this is what is causing this, as this shot just before the blank is
pretty overwhelming. Much reporting of an intense sun from both hemispheres, demonstrated here in the photos. The last camera
burnout sessions were when Planet X was in a direct line, just past the Sun, into the cameras. Then came a period when it was to our side
as Earth proceeded in its orbit. Now it once again is in front of the camera, as Planet X has come between the Earth and the Sun.
