I too share the desire to form a community now in preparation for the changes. I know there will be many responses to each posting but I think as is the case with me that people will want to form communities in a variety of areas with friends and family. However, we must establish an awareness of who the contacts are for these communities so that individuals looking for such a place can find it. This kind of clearing house will prove to be invaluable to spreading the word amongst those of us who are ready and willing to take action now.

That said, I am the contact person for a community in the Northern New England area. I have some ideas about purchasing land and preparing it so that "afterwards" it will be easier to rebuild.
